Roll after Dark

Roll After Dark is a free 18+ dark-fantasy party RPG for groups of 2–8 consenting adults.

Your party enters a ten-act campaign filled with dangerous paths, cursed chambers, monsters, betrayals, and increasingly spicy consequences. Players make decisions, choose approaches, and roll an animated d20. Success moves the party toward escape. Failed challenges awaken consequences selected according to everyone’s locked boundaries.

HOW IT WORKS

One player becomes the Dungeon Master. Every participant creates a character or NPC-controller profile and privately selects what may appear. The game calculates the shared permitted content before offering any consequence.

During each act, the current player chooses an adventure path and an approach. Safer failures generally draw from lower-intensity consequences, while more dangerous routes can unlock stronger outcomes. The route mapping changes between campaigns, so memorizing the “safe” decision will not guarantee success next time.

SAFETY

Roll After Dark is strictly for adults aged 18 or older. Every participant must freely agree to play. Private boundaries cannot be overridden. The Veil and Skip controls remain available throughout the campaign, and stopping carries no punishment.
